Matthew Morris

My name is Dwasii, and my given name is Matthew Morris. I am a 27 year old creative artist a dancer, choreographer, and recording artist who was born with rhythm in my blood and purpose in my heart. My love for entertainment started at a young age. I come from a creative family in Jamaica where my grandparents were known for hosting big community events filled with music, food, and stage shows. Watching them bring people together through art and culture inspired me to do the same. That is where I learned that creativity is not just talent, it is service. I grew up in New York City where I lived for about 13 years, and that is really where my artistry expanded. I have performed everywhere from church stages to major venues like Amazura in Queens. I have modeled, choreographed, and shared stages with incredible talents including Mr. Vegas, and I have appeared in multiple music videos. Right now, I am part of the Bob Marley Hope Road production at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, a performance that means a lot to me because it carries a deep message of unity and love. Outside of performing, I have also curated and produced my own events experiences that blend dance, music, and storytelling to uplift people and connect them to something greater. I have over six years of experience in hospitality and marketing, doing everything from event management to door to door sales. It taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life and how to build something meaningful with authenticity and drive. I recently moved to Las Vegas, and I am continuing to grow as both an artist and a human being. My mission is to create with purpose and passion, to awaken others through my art, and to inspire spiritual and emotional growth in everyone I reach. I believe life is a canvas, and how you paint that canvas determines the beauty you bring into this world. I do this for the people who feel deeply, for those chasing purpose, and for anyone who needs a reminder that they are capable of creating something the world has never seen before. I do not just perform. I tell stories, I move energy, and I create moments that stay with people. That is who I am. That is Dwasii.
