Teresa Moore

Teresa Moore is a versatile actress, writer, director, and producer with a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Iowa. She has built a diverse career spanning film, television, and stage, bringing depth and authenticity to every role she takes on. On screen, Teresa has appeared in a range of film and TV projects, including Cultural Abduction, where she took on a lead role, as well as Remembering Kevin, The Librarian's Assistant, Coming Out Straight, Dark Days, and The Gilded Six-Bits. She has also appeared in commercials for Genesis Health System, Moline Senior Care, and a United Way PSA. Teresa's stage credits are equally impressive. She has portrayed iconic roles including Lena Younger in A Raisin in the Sun, Rose Maxson in Fences, and Rosetta Tharpe in Marie and Rosetta, performing at respected venues such as Playcrafters Theatre, Muncie Civic Theatre, Pike Performing Arts Center, and the University of Iowa. Beyond performing, Teresa is a creative force behind the scenes. She is the founder of I AM Productions LLC, a theatrical production company through which she writes, directs, and produces. She has directed multiple productions for other theatres and has additional expertise in set design and building, as well as book editing and publishing. She has also completed a professional screenwriting course at UCLA.
