Cris Mertens is an LA-based film and TV animation editor with over a decade of experience in post-production, shaping stories for Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Paramount, and HBO. His recent credits include Get Jiro (S01), Watchmen: Chapters I & II, and Young Justice: Phantoms (S04).
Raised as an American in Japan, Cris embraces the philosophy of Shokunin (職人) - the pursuit of excellence in one’s craft. Guided by that mindset, he brings precision, rhythm, and emotional depth to every story, blending technical excellence with a strong collaborative spirit - often with a dachshund by his side.
