Sonia Manceau

I'm Sonia, I’m 23 years old, and I have this rare ability to move between the innocence of a teenager and the maturity of an adult. I’m deeply intuitive, empathetic, and endlessly curious about the world and the people around me. Every character I embody, I shape with instinct, sincerity, and emotion. I’m a self-taught actress at heart. I knew from a young age that I wanted to act, after taking my very first theater class. Passionate about American cinema, I taught myself English by watching TV shows, and by 18, I was fluent with a perfect American accent. After high school, I studied for two years in a film studies program at university, then worked for several years in Switzerland, between Basel and Geneva, to save up and make my dream of moving to Paris a reality. I worked in all types of restaurants, from small cafés to a Michelin 2-star establishment, while continuing my artistic journey. I took acting classes in English in Geneva, joined a bilingual theater troupe, and performed socially engaged plays about racism and sexism in Geneva, Lausanne, and Bern. At 21, I made one of my dreams come true: traveling to Los Angeles to meet industry professionals, perform, learn, and experience the energy of the Californian film world firsthand. I also wrote and filmed my own demo reel, in collaboration with a director I had met during my theater tours; it was my first professional shoot, a demanding yet incredibly rewarding experience. Originally from Alsace and Aix-en-Provence, I grew up between different cultures and landscapes, which today enrich my perspective and my sensitivity. What truly moves me are moments of genuine connection when time seems to stop, and you feel fully alive. I speak fluent French and English, and I'm available for projects in France and internationally.
