Morgan Alston
About:
Morgan Alston is a multimedia journalist, social media producer, and on-air talent with four years of experience spanning journalism, interviews, producing, reporting, and digital storytelling. She currently serves as a Social Host and Reporter for Warner Bros. Discovery’s Bleacher Report, where she travels the country to conduct vertical on-camera and off-camera interviews for Bleacher Report and its portfolio brands. In this role, she has produced, edited, and published original content across TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram — managing every phase from concept to execution — and generating over 98 million views across platforms.
Morgan is known for spotting and pitching viral Gen Z and pop culture stories while building deep relationships with sources to shape impactful narratives. Her finger-on-the-pulse sensibility and creative direction have cemented her as a force in social-driven storytelling.
In addition, Morgan currently works as an Entertainment Reporter and Host for The Knockturnal Magazine, where she leads and supports the production of engaging pop-culture content, conducts interviews with high-profile guests, and manages marketing and editorial strategy. She also covers live events and red carpets, engaging communities and expanding the brand's reach across platforms.
She further showcases her reporting talents as a College Football Sideline Reporter for ESPN , covering UConn and Sacred Heart's football programs. On the sidelines, Morgan reports compelling human-interest stories — from breaking news to behind-the-scenes athlete features — bringing energy and depth to live broadcasts. Morgan also made her national TV debut on News Nation, discussing the 2025 Super Bowl and the iconic Kendrick Lamar halftime performance.
Previously, Morgan served as a Production Assistant at ESPN's headquarters in Bristol, CT, where she contributed to major live event coverage, including the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit, helping tell the stories of emerging athletes for both ESPN and ABC broadcasts.
Her career foundation is built on a relentless drive and unmatched versatility. Morgan has completed eight internships, including at The New York Post and FOX, and worked on freelance producing and reporting projects for News 12 New Jersey. She launched her own podcast, She Gets What She Wants, and served as a sideline reporter for the Rumph Classic and as the Host of the Roots Picnic in Philadelphia.
A former Division I track and field athlete at Monmouth University, Morgan pivoted from athletics to media in her senior year, betting on her passion for storytelling — a move that proved pivotal. She was honored as Monmouth University's Alumni of the Year, and has since built a portfolio that includes interviews with major figures like Kyrie Irving, Kamala Harris, and Michael B. Jordan, with her work garnering both local and national attention.
With a voice rooted in authenticity and a mission to spotlight underrepresented stories, Morgan Alston is steadily making her mark as a bold, thoughtful, and boundary-pushing journalist in the modern media landscape.
