Job Description:
Casting background actors for the short comedy film “Chai Tea,” a vibrant and humorous take on modern culture and relationships. The project is currently filming a proof of concept and seeks a variety of unique and expressive background talent to bring this colorful world to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• Portray relatable, character-driven background roles in comedic hiking scenes

• Take direction from the production team to capture natural and expressive performances

• Participate in group and individual moments that enhance the storytelling and atmosphere

Requirements:

• Millennial Couple: Male + Female, White, Ages 25–35. Portray tired first-time parents hiking with an adopted BIPOC toddler on a leash.

• Toddler: Any Gender, BIPOC, Ages 1–5. Playful and curious toddler hiking with parents, wearing a child leash/harness.

• 2 WeHo Gays: Male, All Ethnicities, Ages 25–35. Fit, confident, and energetic gay best friends hiking together. One in a crop top and shorts, the other shirtless in short shorts.

• Gen-Z TikTokkers: Any Gender, All Ethnicities, Ages 18–28. Trendy, enthusiastic TikTok creators filming a viral dance video on a hiking trail with a tripod and ring light.

• Pretty Plastic Hiker: Female, All Ethnicities, Ages 20s–30s. A glam, fitness-loving woman with a “surgery-enhanced” look, hiking in Lululemon-style activewear.
