Andre Miguel

André Miguel is a Filipino actor and musician working across film, theater, and digital media. He trained in the Meisner technique at Sightlines Actors Space and began his stage career with the UP Repertory Company. His notable theater credits include Laro (Artist Playground, 2019; Barefoot Theatre Collaborative, 2023), Skin-Deep (Ateneo Blue Repertory, 2018), Nana Rosa (UP Playwrights’ Theatre, 2020), and Mas Mabigat Ang Liwanag Sa Kalungkutan (2017), an original play where he also wrote music. On screen, André plays Eliong in Kantil (Cinemalaya 2024) and has appeared in Some Nights I Feel Like Walking (2024). He starred in At Least We Had This Moment (2025), which screened at international festivals including Queer East London and the Hong Kong Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. He is also featured in Agapito, selected for the 78th Festival de Cannes and recognized at the Toronto International Film Festival with an Honourable Mention for Best International Short Film. André co-stars in the Netflix series Happy Crush (2025) and will appear in upcoming Filipino punk drama film Ria (TBA).
