Job Description
A heartfelt short commercial film is seeking talented actors for an emotional, character-driven story centered on an elderly woman whose peaceful morning is disrupted by noisy neighbors—until an unexpected encounter brings warmth and connection. This is an unpaid role, ideal for actors looking to expand their portfolios and collaborate on a passion project created pro bono for a local family-owned bakery.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver authentic, emotionally nuanced performances

• Engage in quiet, close-up acting and subtle character work

• Collaborate closely with the director and crew to bring natural storytelling to life

• Participate in rehearsals and filming on scheduled dates

Casting Roles

• Anne (Female, elderly): A retired woman living alone. Sharp-witted, independent, and easily irritated, yet with a softer, more vulnerable side. Must convey deep emotion through subtle expressions and physicality.

• Wife (30s–40s): Warm, polite, and slightly apologetic. Balances being a kind neighbor while managing a busy household.

• Husband (30s–40s): Friendly yet firm. Protective of his family while maintaining neighborly respect.

• Voice of Elisa (60s–80s): Anne’s long-time friend. Comforting, humorous, and warm. (Voiceover role only.)

Requirements

• Actors must be comfortable with natural, dialogue-light performances

• Open to all backgrounds and experience levels

• Filming in Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole area

• Planned shoot dates: 1st and 2nd November (subject to change)
