A romantic drama feature film titled “Knotty”, directed by Dr. Annastasia O. Oraegbunem, is seeking a talented male actor (playing age 35–45) for the lead role of Ethan Finch. Ethan is a handsome, emotionally complex tech billionaire caught between love, grief, and control. His polished exterior hides deep emotional wounds and a yearning for true connection. The role demands both confidence and vulnerability — someone capable of commanding attention one moment and revealing quiet depth the next.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray Ethan Finch, a perfectionist haunted by his mother’s death

• Deliver emotionally nuanced performances across romantic, dramatic, and introspective scenes

• Depict a transformative love story with Oriàkù, a gifted immigrant musician

• Perform in multiple key emotional and dialogue-heavy scenes, including:

  • High-rise office

  • Restaurant

  • Intimate emotional sequences

• Collaborate with the director to bring emotional range and authenticity to the role

Requirements

• Playing Age: 35–45

• Gender: Male

• Strong emotional range with the ability to balance confidence, charm, and vulnerability

• Comfortable performing romantic tension, dramatic dialogue, and emotional depth

• Prior experience in film, TV, or theatre preferred

• Must be located in or willing to work in the Greater Toronto Area

• Must be available for self-tape or in-person auditions (Toronto/Whitby area)
