Following my time at sea, I spent the past 20 years as a primary school teacher — a career that further honed my communication, organisation, and leadership skills, as well as my ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. These experiences have strengthened my capacity to connect with people from all walks of life, anticipate needs, and uphold a high standard of professionalism in dynamic, fast-paced environments. Beyond the classroom and the yacht, I have a lifelong passion for the outdoors and adventure. I am an experienced outdoor education specialist with extensive skills in snowboarding, scuba diving, horse riding, abseiling, camping, sailing, and canyoning. I thrive in physically demanding environments and believe that age is no barrier — at 48, I bring energy, fitness, and enthusiasm to every pursuit, both on and off the water. Now eager to return to the ocean, I bring with me a mature, grounded perspective and a deep appreciation for teamwork, adventure, and service excellence. Known for my approachable nature, positive attitude, and proactive mindset, I take pride in creating a warm, polished environment where guests feel genuinely cared for and crew feel supported. I’m excited to combine my hospitality expertise, teaching background, and love of the outdoors in a professional, service-focused team at sea once again.
