About:
Originally from Newark, NJ, and trained in Clermont, FL, Sakura Heath is a powerhouse dance performer whose career spans elite competitive titles and the professional stage. A National Senior Miss Dreammaker, National Senior Miss Believe, and Wild Intensive Icon, Sakura’s technical foundation was built at the Shooting Stars School of Performing Arts under Melissa Stokes. She is currently the Miss World Dance Champion, a Commercial Dance student at Pace University’s Sands College of Performing Arts in New York City.
Sakura’s professional credits are as diverse as her training in ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, tap, musical theatre, ballroom, and hip-hop. She has performed at the prestigious Joyce Theater in choreography by Marinda Davis, and at the distinguished A.C.E. Awards held in New York City under the direction of Tommy Tibball. A recognized talent in the industry, she was selected as a Dance Educators Collective Choreographer’s Cup dancer under the choreographer Tommy Tibball and has collaborated with Maverick City Music and the JWLKRS at the JWLKRS Conference.
Beyond her performance career, Sakura is a sought-after Dance Teacher and Choreographer. She has spent years as a lead dance assistant to Melissa Stokes and now crafts award-winning choreography for competitive solos, duets, and group routines. Her artistic reach extends to the runway, having performed and modeled at both New York and Orlando Fashion Weeks. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in front of the camera for brands like Kandi Kouture and Willow Bean Studio, Sakura brings a signature "It" factor and a tireless work dance ethic to every project.
