Job Description

A new theatre company based in Dallas, Texas, is seeking submissions of original, unproduced full-length plays for its 2026–2027 inaugural seasons. The company is dedicated to developing and producing bold, boundary-pushing works that explore interracial experiences, foster inclusivity, and inspire a new generation of theatre-makers.

Job Responsibilities

• Submit an original, unproduced full-length play in the correct format.

• Provide a playwright’s CV alongside the submission.

• Ensure your work reflects bold, diverse narratives that align with the company’s mission.

• Commit to collaborating with the theatre company if selected for production.

Requirements

• Plays must be original, full-length, and at least 65 pages.

• Only unproduced plays are eligible (workshops and readings are acceptable).

• Cast size: 1–8 actors (7–8 with dual roles acceptable).

• Play must be formatted according to Dramatists Guild Modern or Traditional Stage play format.

• Only one play can be submitted per playwright.

• Scripts must be submitted in PDF format only.

Compensation

• Selected plays will be produced as part of Theatre Noir Blanc’s season.

• Writers will receive professional production credits and exposure to national and international audiences.
