Rob Schneider Bashed for This MLK Tweet

Date:

Rob Schneider may have had well-intentions when he decided to share his personal thoughts on Twitter but, that it has quickly backfired for the actor.

The SNL alum Schneider was bashed, trashed, and thrown away on Twitter on Monday after he used Martin Luther King Jr. Day as an opportunity to tell Georgia Rep. John Lewis, who actually worked alongside the late MLK Jr, how to improve equality in America.

“Rep. Lewis. You are a great person. But Dr. King didn’t give in to his anger or his hurt. That is how he accomplished & won Civil Rights,” Schneider tweeted on Monday, in reference to Lewis recent comments questioning the legitimacy of  Trump’s Presidential win.

Needless to say, Twitter had a field day on Scheneider’s comments.
