Octavia Spencer Buys Out Theater To Help Low-Income Families See ‘Hidden Figures’

As we pointed out yesterday, Hidden Figures is on fire and the ‘s secret to success is making sure everyone can see the amazing film.

According to reports, Octavia Spencer bought out a so low-income can see 

“My mom would not have been able to afford to take me and my siblings. So, I’m honoring her and all single parents this #mlkweekend,” Spencer, 46, announced on Instagram over the weekend.

“If you know a in need that would like to see our movie but can’t afford it have them come,” she wrote. “It’s first come first served.”

Spencer’s gift to low-income families took place on at the Rave Baldwin Hills theater. It was such an amazing gesture even the leading lady, shared the post on her Instagram page adding, “This is how phenomenal this woman is,” Henson wrote.
