Christina Gonzalez
About:
My name is Christina Gonzalez, I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I have been acting in stage productions since the age of seven. I received my BFA in Performance from the University of Texas at El Paso in Fall of 2016. I moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in the Fall of 2018, seeing as there was a larger film presence and I wanted to gain more experience in a new medium. During my college career I acted in numerous theatre productions, notable roles including; Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries, Ivy in August Osage County, The Other Woman in Dead Man's Cell Phone, along with ensemble roles in productions of Bent, Esperanza Rising, Taming of the Shrew, among many others. My film credits have been primarily as an extra, in productions such as; Walking with Herb, 12 Mighty Orphans, Run Hide Fight, Till Death and Cruel Summer. I was cast in my first SAG featured called Squealer directed by Andy Armstrong. My film resume is relatively small at the moment, but I hope to continue developing it and eventually earn the privilege of playing roles that are closer to secondary or primary characters.
