Ādaraya [translated from Sinhalese to English: meaning ‘Love'] is an emerging, self titled, ‘Athlete of the Arts’, with an open agenda to reshape our entertainment industry and simultaneously re-establish the craft of creativity as a social cornerstone into progressive/innovative action. Guided by belief in the remedial power of performance and passion, this queer, trans, gender-fluid, BIPOC spiritual being, has forever chosen holistic healing entertainment as their mode of provocative truth telling. Determined to push the envelope of freeform expression, Ādaraya harnesses the journey of creating as a personal roadmap to enlightenment, self love and spiritual healing. With pure intentions to provide safe spaces amidst their nuanced repertoire of artistry gifts, they aspire to represent/elevate silenced voices, oppressed feelings and ridiculed thoughts; gathering our collective consciousness home in harmony, all whilst honouring the airwaves that led us here to begin with.
