She has more than 6 years of experience of being in a choir, and has been taking theatre/musical theatre lessons since age 7. She has partaken in many school related productions, such as "Six: Teen Edition" and "Mean Girls Jr.", her most notable role being Karen Smith. Along with her in-school choir, Maria Julia attends Garden Music School, where she takes professional vocal lessons.
