Social media is not too happy with Matt Damon’s new movie The Great Wall.
Matt Damon’s new movie The Great Wall is sparking some serious social media backlash. Earlier this week, Matt Damon went viral after social media started mocking him for appropriating Chinese culture.
On Thursday afternoon, #ThankYouMattDamon started trending on Twitter, with many users offering sarcastic thanks to Damon and the upcoming movie.

This is not the first time Matt Damon was in the middle of a racial controversy. As a producer and cast member on HBO’s reality show ‘Project Greenlight’, Damon sparked controversy over comments he made to the line producer Effie Brown.
