Josephine Armar started to act professionally after taking early retirement - she had worked for 32+ years at an international organisation. She has won Best Actress Award for her role in a short, Ring-Ring, played the role of Akua in Jason Katims' Dear Edward, and was a featured extra HBO's We Own this City. In addition to English, she speaks French, Spanish, Twi and Ga fluently, is widely travelled and has done voice-overs in French and English, done commercials and role plays for training purposes. She is a mother of three young adults and lives in the DMV area.
