Amro Ali is a 19 year old Somali-American Muslim writer, actor, and aspiring filmmaker. She is the author of “The Collective Unconscious,” a self-published poetry anthology, and is a national award-winning competitive poet and performer. She is currently a film student at her university, where she is mastering how to write, direct, act in, and produce her own student films in her home state of Virginia.
