Cameron Schmalz

Cameron Schmalz is a Chicago-based actor and graduate of Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts, where he earned his BFA in Acting. Known for his versatility and strong physicality, Cameron has brought a range of characters to life on stage, including Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing, Doug in Gruesome Playground Injuries, and Philip the Bastard in King John. He was also a member of the original cast of Loki at the End of the World, and performed in Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas at the renowned Minnesota Children’s Theatre Company. On screen, Cameron appeared in the independent film In Your Shoes as Wilder. He is an alum of the Oak Park Festival Theatre Internship, and his training includes acting, movement, and vocal work. With a baritone/bass singing range and skills in tumbling, dialects, stage combat, and juggling, Cameron brings energy, commitment, and a collaborative spirit to every project.
