Job Description
A high-impact short film is seeking talented male actors of South Asian/Indian descent for multiple lead and supporting roles. The project explores intense action and emotionally driven storytelling, incorporating martial arts, stage combat, and physical acting. Background performers are also needed for dynamic group scenes. This is a great opportunity to work on a cinematic narrative that highlights South Asian identity and representation.
Job Responsibilities
• Portray lead or supporting characters in a story-heavy, action-focused narrative
• Perform stunts or choreographed fight scenes where applicable
• Participate in emotionally resonant and physically intense scenes
• Collaborate with cast and crew to bring an original film concept to life
Requirements
Leads:
• Male, 23–30, 5’10″–6’2″, athletic build
• South Asian/Indian descent (Tamil heritage a plus)
• Martial arts or stage-combat experience preferred
• Male, 18–23, South Asian/Indian descent
• No acting experience required but must be comfortable with action scenes
• Male, 45–65, South Asian/Indian descent
• Strong screen/stage experience required
• British English required (Tamil helpful but not mandatory)
• Male, 18–23, South Asian/Indian descent
• Prior acting experience a plus
Supporting Role:
• Male, 20–35, any ethnicity (POC preferred)
• Stunt or fight-scene experience preferred
• Confident in physical acting (fights, firearm props, chases)
Extras:
• 8–12 male background performers, ages 18–40
• British-Asian and Black British ethnicities
• Comfortable with group scenes, background action, and on-screen violence
