Ant-Man 2 to film this June in Atlanta, Georgia.
Are you ready for your next audition? According to reports, Marvel’s next project following The Avengers: Infinity War will be Ant-Man 2.
Essentially, the Marvel Cinematic Universe continues to grow, with three movies released this year. Currently, the studio is working on Black Panther and The Avengers: Infinity War.
A listing at My Entertainment World confirmed the production start for Ant-Man 2. While specific filming locations were not released, production will most likely take place at Pinewood Atlanta Studios, which is where the first Ant-Man feature film was shot. Moreover, Marvel has filmed several feature films there including Captain America: Civil War and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
Paul Rudd will reprise his role as Scott Lang, also known as Ant-Man, along with Evangeline Lilly as The Wasp, whose new suit was released during one of the Ant-Man post-credit scenes.
Peyton Reed will return to direct, with a familiar team of writers working on the script. In December 2015, we reported that Paul Rudd will team up with Ant-Man production writers Gabriel Ferrari and Andrew Barrer, who will all co-write the script based on a story they have developed with Adam McKay.
While not confirmed, according to the Georgia Help Wanted Hotline, producers are now accepting resumes for crew positions for “Pym Particles”, which is reportedly the particles that allowed for Ant-Man to shrink in size.
