Job Description
An independent short film is now casting adult and young adult actors for a coming-of-age gothic western project set to shoot in Los Angeles. The story follows a grieving 15-year-old girl grappling with loyalty, loss, and rebellion in a conservative town. Auditions are being accepted via self-tape submissions. This is a non-union production supported by a university film program.

Job Responsibilities

• Submit a compelling self-tape audition for a character role

• Participate in principal photography scheduled for late September or early October

• Portray emotionally grounded characters within a dramatic and stylized narrative

• Collaborate closely with a director and student-led film team

Requirements

• Open to adult and young adult actors

• Strong dramatic acting skills with a sensitivity to tone and story

• Comfortable working in an indie/student film production environment

• Must submit name, age, pronouns, headshot, and preferred role with audition

• Ability to work in Los Angeles during the shooting window

Compensation

• Compensation negotiable

• Non-union short film

• Shooting will take place in Los Angeles, CA
