Job Description:
A stage production of West Side Story is holding an immediate casting call for an understudy to cover the roles of Indio and Bernardo. This opportunity is ideal for talented actors who are also confident movers or dancers. Candidates must be available for rehearsals beginning mid-July and be prepared to step in during performances scheduled for late August through mid-September.

Job Responsibilities:

• Rehearse and fully learn the roles of Indio and Bernardo

• Attend all scheduled rehearsals starting July 14

• Learn choreography, dialogue, and blocking

• Be on standby and performance-ready throughout the show’s run

Requirements:

• Acting experience with strong stage presence

• Dance or movement ability

• Reliable and available on short notice

• Must be available for the entire rehearsal and performance period
