Fox Cancels ‘You The Jury’ After Only Two Episodes

Date:

Fox is not taking any chances with their new reality TV series You The Jury. According to reports, Fox executives canceled the show from the schedule after only two episodes. Why would the show get canceled so quickly? Apparently, the show had very low ratings. In fact, the interactive reality TV series has been off the air for two weeks, and no one even noticed.

You The Jury was more of a social experiment than a reality show in which viewers serve as trial jurors in civil cases. The first episode has 1.5 million viewers, but by the second episode, ratings dropped to 1.2 million.

Launching a successful new reality series can be tough especially considering Fox news to have the hit reality musical series American Idol, which ended last year.

Hosted by Fox News’ Jeanine Pirro, a former prosecutor, judge and a syndication court show star, You the Jury showcased six well-known attorneys arguing civil cases where viewers can vote in real-time to determine the verdict.

It is important to note that it was just shown as the decisions were not legally binding.
