About:
Tenor Germán Gholami Torres-Pardo is emerging as a prominent figure in the opera world, performing on concert stages and theaters across the globe. Born in Madrid, Spain, in 1985, Germán Gholami (Germán Javier Gholami Torres-Pardo) comes from a family of professional musicians. His father, Ali-Reza Gholami, a multi-instrumentalist and music therapist, gave him his first lessons on the violin and flute. Meanwhile, his mother, María Ángeles Torres-Pardo Criado, a classical soprano and guitar professor at the Conservatory of Aranjuez, played a key role in shaping his development as a lyrical tenor. Germán Gholami received his musical education in Spain at the University of Alcalá, attended bel canto masterclasses with Berle Sanford Rosenberg and Jenni Anvelt-Scarafoni, and continued his studies under the tutelage of Italian tenor Federico Lepre. His career as a classical tenor began at the prestigious Estonian Vanemuine Opera House in 2012. Since then, Germán Gholami Torres-Pardo has performed in concerts and portrayed roles in opera and musical productions in various countries, including Estonia, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Israel, Poland, Russia, Finland, South Korea, France, Austria, Germany, Luxembourg, Denmark and the United States. COLLABORATIONS: Germán Gholami has collaborated with several musical ensembles, including the Canzona Group (performing Sephardic, Christian, and Andalusian music from Medieval Spain), the crossover group Musical Tenors, and the Polish ensemble Great Tenors. As a soloist, he has performed with the Vanemuine Symphony Orchestra and the Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra. He has also participated in masterclasses with Maestro Elio Orciuolo in Italy. Gholami has shared the stage with artists such as Janne Sevtsenko (Estonian National Opera), Annely Peebo (Vienna State Opera), Elina Nechayeva (Eurovision 2016), and the Lembit Saarsalu Quartet (Opera Jazz), among others. Lately have been collaborating with The Impulso Tenors www.impulsotenors.com and singing at “The Voice” on 2023 and then got the second prize at “The Ultimate Performer” on 2024.
