Armando Alfredo

Armando Alfredo is an actor and writer known for original storytelling and dynamic performances across independent film and media. He is part of the creative force behind several short films, including Missed Call, The Underground World Controlled by Don Guidi, Valley, and The Runner. Much of his work is known to explore introspective and experimental themes through the use of gritty location and flawed characters. From 2022 to 2024, he worked as Calendar Editor, Reporter, and Social Media Manager at The Source Weekly in Bend, Oregon. There, he honed his keen eye for performance metrics, and enhanced overall brand voice leading content creation efforts across editorial and digital platforms to develop cross-channel strategies that drove significant growth on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and X. A former Editor-in-Chief of the Calliope Journal (2019–2020), he also served on its editorial board from 2018, shaping its literary and visual direction. In 2019, he was selected as a Fulbright Institute Scholar, studying film and media at the University of Birmingham in England.
