One of the biggest shocks of 2016 was that Warner Bros. TV is bringing their Teen Titans to the world of live-action in the form of a new TV series called Titans. The series will air on the new untitled DC digital service. The project is created by Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti, Geoff Johns and Sarah Schechter, with Johns, Berlanti and Goldsman writing the pilot script.
But, where is the show going to film? With Marvel filming a large majority of their productions in Atlanta, is Warner Bros. going to follow in Disney’s footsteps?
According to reports, the show will debut in 2018 and My Entertainment World reports Titan will start filming on September 25th in Atlanta, Georgia, where The CW’s Black Lightning is also filming.
While casting is currently underway, we know the show will at least feature the following characters Dick Grayson a.k.a. Nightwing, Starfire, Raven as well as Beast Boy.
About Titans:
“Titans explores one of the most popular comic book teams ever. It follows a group of young soon-to-be superheroes recruited from every corner of the DC Universe. In the action-adventure series, Dick Grayson emerges from the shadows to become the leader of a fearless band of new heroes that includes Starfire, Raven and others.”
