Ashley Graham is a successful model, appearing on magazine covers around the world. In fact, based on her experience in the modeling industry Graham is now serving as a judge on America’s Next Top Model, but, just like anyone in the entertainment industry, Ashely was just starting out. Ms. Graham is looking back to those early days and to one of her first modeling jobs in which the photo assistant wanted to do more than just take photos.
Entertainment Tonight reports that Ashley was only 17 years old when she faced sexual harassment on the set of a modeling job. Graham shared the story for the first time in public, hoping to educate other aspiring models about the people they could possibly meet in the business.
Ashley explains that the photo assistant convinced her to go into a closet claiming he had something to show her, and, and while that was true, it was not related to the modeling job. The America’s Next Top Model judge says the assistant pulled out his penis, as soon as the two of them were alone.
Graham said she was overwhelmed and disgusted when he began pressuring her to grab his private area.
“I freaked out,” recalled Ashley. “And thank God I was closer to the door, and I just bolted out.”
