Tyler Perry is ramping up his releases with Lionsgate, following the release of October’s hit box-office movie, Boo! A Made Halloween. According to Deadline, Tyler Perry is releasing several new feature films with Lionsgate.
The first movie is She’s Living my Life and will feature three-time Emmy nominee star Taraji P. Henson, who previously starred in Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys and I Can Do Bad All By Myself. In She’s Living My Life, Henson plays a faithful wife who is tired of standing by her devious husband, and is enraged when it becomes clear she has been betrayed.
Tyler Perry’s next movie is A Made Family Funeral, which stars Tyler Perry Cassi Davis and Patrice Lovely. In the movie, a joyous family reunion becomes a hilarious nightmare as Madea and the crew travel to backwoods Georgia, where they find themselves unexpectedly planning a funeral that might unveil unsavory family secrets.
