Job Description
Xiomara, or “Xio,” is a Latina in her late teens, the life of the party and a source of encouragement for her best friend, Paola. She embraces her individuality and isn’t afraid to speak her mind, often pushing Paola to break out of her shell. She’s a fellow latchkey kid who takes care of many siblings, balancing responsibility with a fierce independence. Emo by style and attitude, her dyed hair and bold fashion make her stand out in any crowd.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray Xiomara’s confidence, charisma, and rebellious spirit authentically
- Deliver energetic and engaging dialogue in both English and Spanish
- Work closely with the director and fellow cast members to create dynamic friendships on screen
- Adapt to festival and high-energy scenes with spontaneity and expressiveness
Requirements
- Female actor in late teens
- Latina heritage required
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) preferred
- Strong screen presence with a bold, individualistic personality
- Previous acting experience is a plus but not required
- Comfortable working on a film set for multiple days
