Job Description
A powerful video project is seeking a male actor to portray a real-life story for an AIDS awareness campaign. This non-union production is looking for talent who can deliver a sensitive and emotional performance on camera. The project will be filmed in the Washington, D.C. area and will be used for web distribution in Erie, PA. This is an opportunity to be part of a meaningful initiative that brings awareness and support to those affected by HIV and AIDS.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray a real-life individual in an emotional and impactful video
- Deliver a compelling, naturalistic performance on camera
- Follow the provided script and convey a sincere and heartfelt message
- Complete a self-taped audition for consideration
Requirements
- Male, Caucasian, age 30-45 (or can realistically play the range)
- Muscular, scruffy-faced, with graying features
- Athletically built and non-flamboyant
- Must have strong emotional range and ability to deliver sensitive dialogue
- Must be able to work as a local hire in the Baltimore/D.C. area (no travel expenses provided)
Compensation
- $1,000 total (includes session and usage, minus agency fees)
- Non-union project
- Perpetual usage for web distribution in Erie, PA
