Kayla Melody

Kayla Melody is an Iranian-American actress, born in Newport Beach, CA, to two Iranian immigrants. In high school, she starred in comedic YouTube videos for a friend, which garnered millions of views, and made small appearances in music videos while also attending film classes outside of school. Though she explored different aspects of filmmaking, she preferred being in front of the camera rather than behind it. After high school, Kayla attended Boston University. Upon graduating, she moved to Los Angeles and began a career in PR, working at major red carpet events and award shows, including the Vanity Fair Oscar Party and the Critics Choice Awards. Immersed in the entertainment industry, she felt even more motivated to pursue acting. While working in PR, Kayla continued acting on the side, landing a small role in an indie film. Eventually, she decided to commit to acting full-time. Her unique skills include speaking Farsi, tap dancing, playing piano, singing, archery, and more.
