About:
Early Life Kaylyn Render was born and raised in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan. From a young age, she exhibited a deep passion for storytelling and performing arts. Growing up in Detroit's diverse and culturally rich neighborhoods, Kaylyn was exposed to a wide array of influences that shaped her artistic sensibilities. Fun Fact : Kaylyn was apart of a Mother’s Day tea celebration 6th- 8th grade. She was had the role of the mother whoop her babies behind in the iconic song I Wish by Stevie Wonder Education and Training Kaylyn started acting during high school. She was apart of Mosaic Youth Theatre. There she learned about stage presences, blocking, and conveying emotion that support the story through the character. She was apart of the selected few to perform across the country at various colleges, prisons, and church’s. She performed a Civil Rights piece at the Detroit Institute of Art. Her love for performing was cultivated then with the guidance of seasoned professors and industry professionals. Her time at Mosaic Youth Theatre not only refined her acting skills but also instilled in her a strong work ethic and dedication to her art. Fun Fact : She majored in Commercial Arts at Cass Technical High School. She won art awards in various competitions for her drawings and painting Higher Education Kaylyn attended Western Michigan University. She joined a study abroad program while in college. She attended Florence University of the Arts in Italy. She learned about fashion and Italian culture. After an amazing time, She flew home and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Western Michigan University. She majored in Textile and Apparel Studies with a concentration in Fashion Design. Fun Fact : She created over 40 garments in her collegiate career. Twelve of which were dress she created in 1 hour for less fortune girls in Africa. She also was apart of the Big Brother Big Sister Program. Career Beginnings Kaylyn is eager to apply all that she learned artistically into her next professional endeavor. She wants to continue to tell important stories that will inspire and empower the next generation. Kaylyn’s goal is to tell the untold stories of the next generations leaders and world changes. Transition to Film and Television Seeking new challenges, Kaylyn will make the leap into film and television. She is looking forward to implementing the tools she has learned along the way. She wants to amplify the stories of people that will impact culture, for the better. Personal Life Off-screen, Kaylyn remains deeply connected to visual arts and fashion. She is a Professional Bridal Seamstress that uses her talents to serve the community. She started a company that gives young ladies facing financial hardship access to designer, high-end, and custom gowns for a low cost. Her commitment to giving back to her community reflects her belief in the transformative power of the arts. Future Endeavors Looking ahead, Kaylyn Render continues to push boundaries in her career, eager to explore complex roles and collaborate with visionary filmmakers. Whether on stage or screen, she remains dedicated to telling stories that resonate with audiences on a profound level. Kaylyn Render’s journey from the streets of Detroit to the stage and screen is a testament to her talent, perseverance, and unwavering passion for acting.
