Disney Talent Search for Star Wars Characters

Disney is now holding auditions for Star Wars Day at Sea.

According to the casting call, Disney is looking for performers to “appear as fully costumed Star Wars characters in a meet and greets, events and production numbers on board the ship.”

Disney Cruise Line® contracts Animated Character performers who move well to bring to life some of the exciting characters from the Star Wars saga. Disney Parks Live Entertainment is currently seeking character performers for entertainment events aboard our luxury cruise liner, the Disney Fantasy. Performers appear as fully costumed Star Wars characters in meet and greets, events and production numbers on board the ship. Some performers also appear as Star Wars Character Look-alikes.

Casting directors are seeking the following types:

  1. Male Character Performers: 5’9″ – 6’5″. Some candidates will be required to have basic movement ability.
  2. C-3PO:Slender build. 5’7” – 5’9”. A droid who has seen his share of galactic battles. Candidates will be required to have basic movement ability.
