Lauryn Charliah

Lauryn Charliah Allums is a screenwriter, director, YouTuber, and overall artist. She has been creating for YouTube for years. More recently discovered her true plans for the YouTube channel: Charliah. She has reached more than 1,000 subscribers, creating videos based on films, television shows, and various media topics. Charliah is studying film and television at New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she has earned the first Maura Mandt Storytelling Scholarship. While in school she works as a Health and Safety Scheduler for Marvel Studios. She has worked with Marvel for almost two years now. Charliah also worked as the Health and Safety Assistant Supervisor for Creed III before returning to Marvel. She is working towards writing and directing her own list of television series and movies under companies like HBO Max, Pixar, A24, Netflix, etc. One day Charliah hopes to have her own production company; one that supports and brings in more POCs. Alongside the company, one of her dreams is to open a non-profit organization that sponsors the artistic underrepresented and less fortunate students; allowing her to hone one of her crafts with a set of professional experience before she graduates.
