Amarys Troche

I was raised in Japan for 13 years, an experience that shaped my perspective and gave me a deep appreciation for culture and discipline. For 9 years, I dedicated myself to playing softball, where my team won back-to-back championships for two consecutive years. My leadership and teamwork skills also shone through during my time in JROTC, where I participated in both drill and public affairs, honing my ability to work under pressure and communicate effectively. Creativity has always been a big part of my life—whether it was capturing stories through photojournalism, singing in varsity choir, or performing in theater, where I came close to competing at the state level. My love for working with animals and capturing their unique beauty through photography fuels my passion for connecting with nature and storytelling. Also I worked at a Stem camp working with over 200 kids taking photos and making newsletters for parents and editing film for advertisements. Currently, I work at a movie theater, driven by a desire to one day work in the film. I will be joining the Air Force in 2025 to serve and grow as a leader. I thrive in environments where I can connect with others, share experiences, and make everyone happy.
