Job Description:
Liquid Talent is seeking experienced puppeteers for an upcoming social media video project for UPS titled “Carol of the Boxes.” This holiday-themed production will feature a puppet singing a humorous rendition of “Carol of the Bells” using original, playful lyrics. The project will be filmed in Richmond, and the selected talent will be required to submit a self-tape as part of the audition process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a one-handed box puppet while singing and harmonizing to original lyrics in a fun and engaging manner.
- Bring the character to life with lively and expressive movements, enhancing the comedic and festive spirit of the video.
- Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure the puppet’s performance matches the creative vision.
Requirements:
- Experience as a puppeteer, with the ability to sing and harmonize in a humorous style while operating the puppet.
- Comfortable creating engaging and lively puppet movements.
- Must be available for filming in Richmond, VA.
- Self-tape submission is required for the audition; no call backs will be conducted as talent will be selected based on self-tapes.
Compensation Details:
- Rate: $150 for usage of voice-over (VO) and $150 for puppeteering.
- Usage term: 6 months for social media, specifically on UPS’s organic social page on Meta.
