A major docu-series is seeking a female stand-in of Indigenous or Native descent to join the production. This role requires a reliable and professional individual to act as a stand-in for the lead actress, assisting the crew with camera setups, lighting adjustments, and scene rehearsals. Filming will take place in Albuquerque (ABQ) and Jemez, New Mexico.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a stand-in for the lead actress, maintaining her position and movements during technical setups.
- Assist the production team with lighting, camera framing, and blocking rehearsals to ensure optimal shot composition.
- Maintain attention to detail to ensure accuracy in replicating the lead actress’s actions and positioning.
- Follow direction from the director and crew to ensure the production runs smoothly.
Requirements:
- Female, aged 18-40, of Indigenous or Native descent.
- Height: 5’5″ to 5’7″.
- Must be local to or able to work in Albuquerque (ABQ) and Jemez, NM (no travel or lodging provided).
- Prior experience as a stand-in is preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and follow detailed instructions on set.
Compensation:
- Rate: $140 for 8 hours of work.
- Overtime paid as per production guidelines if required beyond 8 hours.
