Casting SAG Extras for Commercial Shoot – Real Chicagoans
Job Description: We are seeking SAG extras for an upcoming commercial shoot in Chicago. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a professional production with potential for upgrades if seen and recognizable on screen. We are looking for individuals who embody the diverse and vibrant spirit of Chicago, with interesting and unique faces. All ethnicities are encouraged to apply, with a special emphasis on Hispanic, Asian, and African American individuals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate as background talent in a commercial shoot, portraying authentic Chicagoans.
- Be available for both shoot days, as the exact schedule will be confirmed closer to the dates.
- Follow directions from the production team to ensure a smooth and professional shoot.
- Maintain a professional and cooperative attitude on set, contributing to the overall success of the production.
Requirements:
- Must be a SAG-AFTRA member.
- Age range: 20-65 years old.
- All ethnicities are welcome, with a particular interest in Hispanic, Asian, and African American options.
- Must have a unique, interesting face that represents the diversity of Chicago.
- Availability for both shoot days is essential as the specific day(s) will be confirmed later.
- Professionalism and punctuality are required.
Compensation Details:
- If seen and recognizable on screen, there is potential for a significant upgrade in pay.
- The rate is the SAG Extra Union Rate for Commercials, which is over $400 per day.
- Overtime is paid after 8 hours each day.
- Additional bumps may apply depending on the role and involvement.
