Job Description: Harlem Fashion Week is seeking talented and passionate hair and makeup artists to join our Glamsquad for New York Fashion Week (NYFW). This is a unique opportunity to work alongside top designers, models, and industry professionals, bringing your creativity and expertise to life on the runway. If you are dedicated to beauty and fashion, we want you to be a part of our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide hair and makeup services for models participating in Harlem Fashion Week during NYFW.
- Collaborate closely with designers to create looks that complement their fashion collections.
- Work efficiently and professionally in a fast-paced backstage environment.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and professionalism throughout the event.
- Be available for pre-show meetings and rehearsals as required by the production team.
Requirements:
- Must have prior experience in hair styling or makeup artistry, preferably in fashion shows or similar events.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
- A strong portfolio showcasing your hair and/or makeup work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Availability to commit to the full duration of the event, including rehearsals and pre-show preparations.
Compensation Details:
- Selected hair and makeup artists will be compensated competitively for their work during Harlem Fashion Week.
