Casting Call for Trained Dogs and Cats for Pet Food Shoot in Richmond, VA

Job Description:

We are seeking trained cats and dogs for an upcoming Pet Food project in Richmond, VA. This is an excellent opportunity for your pet to be featured in a professional photo and video shoot.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform specific actions and behaviors as directed by the trainer and production team.
• Follow commands and stay focused during the shoot.
• Participate in various scenes as required by the project.

Talent Needs:

Shoot 1: “Gotcha Day”

• 1 Older Dog (about 10 years of age)
  • Be able to settle into a dog bed, rest head on paws, sit to lay down, eat out of a dog bowl, walk to a mark from A to B.

Shoot 2: “New Spark”

• Older Sparky: 1 older dog, aged 5-12
  • Eat out of a dog bowl
  • Be comfortable with a puppy
  • Walk on a leash along a cart in a store
• Middle Sparky: 1 middle-aged dog
  • Pose for pictures
• Puppy Sparky: 1 puppy
  • Pose for pictures
• 1 Cat
  • Eat out of a cat bowl
• 1 Puppy
  • Be comfortable with an older dog
  • Be in a store setting
  • Eat out of a dog bowl

Dog Breed Specifications:

• No bully breeds
• No brachycephalic breeds

Requirements:

• Trained cats and dogs.
• Pets must be comfortable following commands and being on set.
• Owners must be available to accompany their pets to the shoot.

Compensation Details:

• Cat Budget: $500 for a half-day for cat and trainer.
• Dog Budget:
  • $500 for a half-day for dog and trainer.
  • $750 for a full day for dog and trainer.
