However, according to Cox, this wouldn't have been possible if Marvel had stuck to its original plan. The initial script included a brief cameo for Henson in the first episode, more as a nod to than a serious plot device. That initial plan would also explain why Nelson might not have remained Daredevil's staunch ally, as he had been in the original series.

“Daredevil: Born Again” has been in for several years and underwent significant creative changes in 2024 due to vision shifts. The series experienced multiple delays, with production for the first nine episodes starting as late as March 2023. Another round of shooting took place from January to April 2024, with production set to wrap up by the end of 2024.
