Matthew Hill

Matthew Hill was born and raised in Oakville Ontario Canada and is a passionate and versatile actor with a natural talent for storytelling. Matthew comes from a life of athletics as he was involved in soccer, football, rugby, volley-ball and martial arts such as karate and jiu jitsu, but it was soccer that Matthew excelled in growing up. Matthew played at one of the highest levels in Canada and even went on to play in England against top club’s academy teams such as Manchester City, Stoke City, and Derby County. Matthew was always interested in acting as he had a love for movies and finally took his shot at it in high school drama class and fell in love instantly. Matthew also wanted to follow in his family footsteps as he had multiple actors in his family who he takes big inspiration from. Matthew decided to take his education further in acting by attending Toronto Film School in a two year program graduating in the winter of 2023 with a diploma for Acting for film, TV, and the Theatre. During Matthews time at school, he was involved in many projects. Matthew was the lead in short films Silencio, The Circle, and Social Smoker. He was also the lead in a music video titled Dance Baby. Matthew also jumped into the theatre world where he played Matt in Dog Sees God directed by Rosanna Saracino and Francisco in Angel of Death directed by Christopher Sawchyn at the Paper Mill Theatre. With commitment to the art of acting and an unquenchable thirst for learning and growth. He believes in the transformative power of storytelling and aspires to inspire and connect with audiences on a profound level. Matthew looks forward to the challenges and opportunities that the future holds. Matthew currently lives in Oakville but works in Toronto at this time. In his off time Matthew still plays many sports and also contributes to the sports world as he volunteers in coaching little kids in soccer and volley-ball as a way to give back, and when he’s not acting or involved in sports Matthew loves spending time traveling while getting quality time with family and friends.
