The Deuce starring James Franco is now casting extras for a gay bar scene in New York City.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on on February 28th and March 2nd and possible multiple dates between February through August in New York City.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- GWC is seeking Non-Union Men of 25-55 to portray a 1970’s Gay Bar Patrons for work on the HBO Series, THE DEUCE!
- Fitting Feb. 27. Tentatively works Feb. 28 & 3/2 and possibly multiple dates TBD between Feb.-Aug. in the NYC area. Interior and exterior scenes
About The Deuce:
“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

Nonunion: $143/10 hrs.

-all sizes (important to be accurate!): MEN: height, weight, jacket, neck, sleeve, waist, inseam, and shoe: WOMEN: height, weight, bust, waist, hips, dress, and shoe .
-recent selfie/candid photo that shows your current look and hairstyle (especially to show your current hair length)
-Men: would you be comfortable being clean shaven, if needed?
-confirm no visible tattoos
-confirm ok working around atmospheric smoke
-Did you work on season 1 of The Deuce? If so, what role?
-Confirm you are 18 or older
-what ID’s can you provide for your !9? (please note if you have a Visa or restricted ID of any kind)
