Marvel’s Captain Marvel is now casting background actors in Fresno County, California.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on the new Marvel movie, Captain Marvel in Fresno, California on May 16th through the 18th.
According to Fresno Bee, casting directors are looking for “background actors, doubles, and stand-ins who are available to work in Shaver Lake for all three days. This is a paid gig, and those interested can apply via the Central Casting website.”
This news comes after Captain Marvel was expected to film in Atlanta, Georgia. Ever since Ant-Man, nearly every major Marvel Studios movie has filmed in Pinewood Atlanta Studios. In fact, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Black Panther, Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Avengers: Infinity War have all filmed or are now filming in the ATL. But, now the Captain Marvel is headed to Cali.

Kevin Feige has confirmed that Samuel L Jackson will be returning as Nick Fury for the film set in the 1990s which will cover some of the Kree-Skrull War mythology. Rogue One’s Ben Mendelsohn has been reportedly in talks to play the main Skrull villain of the film. The movie centers around Carol Danvers who becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
