Comedy Central‘s South Side is now casting featured roles and dogs in Chicago, Illinois.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming on July 1st in Chicago, Illinois.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Caucasian white-haired FEMALE submissions still being accepted. If you submitted before, you are still being considered. You do not need a poodle but must have white hair and be over 50 years old. The animal handler will have the poodle for you. You need to be comfortable being near a poodle.
About South Side:
Written by Bashir Salahuddin, Diallo Riddle and Sultan Salahuddin, this workplace comedy is set in and around a rent-to-own business on the South Side of Chicago (where the Salahuddins grew up). All three writers will have roles on the show. The show will be executive produced by Bashir Salahuddin and Riddle as well as executive produced and directed by Michael Blieden.

For the Comedy Central Comedy Series ‘SOUTH SIDE’, More to come later! If you were featured in their Pilot, please do not submit for ‘featured’ roles. The goons and a few other new ones upcoming are not cast. All of the other featured roles have been for this first episode. Stand Ins will be confirmed by next week once we decide who they are. There may be a post for additional.
