Jeremy Richardson
About:
Hi! My name is Jeremy and I was born in Virginia. Coming up as a boy I was a class clown, always making my classmates laugh, bringing life back into the clarion. I used to be able to change my voice and sound like cartoons and Sesame Street characters. I also wrote jokes on the back of test papers thatI would use on classmates at the lunch table. I got into a lot of trouble in school because of this. I started performing as a child singer at my hometown church, and I used a lot of vibrato which made a lot of people laugh. I just thought that was how I was supposed to sing. In school I sung for the choir, and performed at local events. I never came off to have stage fright, but I had butterflies at first. I started playing sports (baseball, basketball, football) in the second grade, and I also began learning Taekwondo and Tai Chi. At around the fourth grade I became interested in Hip Hop, and I memorized lyrics from Brand Nubians "hold on". Before that I was dancing to MC Hammer, Big Daddy Kane, and Heavy D. In middle school I attended cinematography classes, and I enjoyed playing acting roles, singing and rapping with classmates. I started writing my own poetry and rhymes in high school. While attending Job Corps in D.C., I joined an acting guild, and performed in front of the entire school. I also won a pencil and pen art award while in Job Corps. In the Army I joined the 82nd All American Chorus, and we traveled throughout the country singing and performing for various venues. I learned how to lead without being called a leader and how to follow by taking the initiative. After the army I created a workout regime that combined martial arts and boxing. I was featured on the second episode of Black Lighting. I look forward to working with you. Thank you kindly.
