Job Description: We are excited to announce the casting for an upcoming television series titled “Ugliest House in America.” The show aims to explore some of the most unique and bizarre homes across the country. If you believe your residence stands out as the wildest, ugliest, and most eccentrically weird house in your town, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a tour of your home to the show’s production crew, highlighting the elements that might qualify it as the “ugliest” house.
  • Participate in on-camera interviews and share the backstory of your home’s unique design choices.
  • Cooperate with the show’s production schedule and filming requirements.
  • Engage with the host and respond to their questions and prompts.

Requirements:

  • Must be the homeowner or have the homeowner’s permission to submit the house for the show.
  • The home should feature unusual design choices, kitschy furniture, clashing wallpaper and carpet patterns, or wacky colors.
  • Comfortable with being filmed and appearing on television.
  • No prior acting or television experience is required.
  • Must be willing to sign a release form for the filming of your property and appearance on the show.

Compensation:

  • Participants will receive a stipend for their time and involvement in the show. The exact amount will be disclosed upon selection and signing of the participant agreement.
  • Potential for additional compensation or a prize if your house is selected as the “winner” of the show’s theme.

    • Active/fitness-oriented lifestyle
  • Immigrant Parents Try Each Other’s “Americanized” Dishes (NY):
    • Accents encouraged

    • Strong sense of humor

We’re casting for a new unscripted reality pilot centered around high-stakes home buying and major financial transitions.

This is a sizzle reel/proof-of-concept shoot for a new series currently in development.

We are looking for strong on-camera personalities to participate in structured real estate scenarios guided by a host.

Important: This is a simulated proof of concept. Talent will portray settlement recipients and an attorney to demonstrate the show's format and tone. The final series will feature real participants.

ROLES:

Homebuyer (Featured)
Cuban male, mid to late 50s. Big personality, expressive, and comfortable on camera. This role represents a high-value settlement scenario and should feel confident, opinionated, and engaging throughout the home search process.


Attorney (Supporting Role)
Open to all genders and ethnicities, 30–60. Seeking someone with a confident, professional, and authoritative presence. This role helps guide the settlement process and should feel credible and composed on camera.


Homebuyer – Mid-Range (Featured)
Open to all genders and ethnicities, ages 25 to 40. Looking for someone relatable and grounded. This role represents a practical homebuyer balancing wants and needs with a moderate settlement.


Homebuyer – Small Settlement (Featured)
Open to all genders and ethnicities, early 20s to mid-30s. Seeking someone practical, optimistic, and resourceful. This role highlights creative decision-making and budget-conscious choices.


Additional Notes for All Roles:

  • Strong comfort on camera is a must
  • Natural, conversational delivery preferred over scripted performance
  • Reality-style interaction and light improvisation involved
